Oh with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. And try and post stats for cities too.

Starting off I'd give my area a 4 or 5/10. Using city-datas stats here is the demographics for Colorado Springs, as well as the suburbs. We don't have very many burbs so Im gonna put most of them down. Im just doing the three biggest races percentage wise too, you can do it whatever way you want.

Miami Beach's diversity is difficult to categorize in terms used for many other American Cities. On the one hand, it's not terribly racially diverse with almost 87% of the city identified as White. On another hand, it's Latin population is over 50%. Additionally, it has a sizeable Jewish community at 19% of the population. While Spanish is the first language of the majority of residents, native tongues also spoken include German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, among others.
If diversity is defined as a deviation from norms on a variety of standard and non standard measurements, then Miami Beach is probably an 8 or a 9. If diversity is defined only racially, then it's probably a 2 or 3.
Off the top of my head, the deviations that make Miami Beach diverse are as follows:

• More Latin than the norm
  More International (foreign born) than the norm
  More Jewish than the norm
  More gay than the norm
  Less American born than the norm
  Less married than the norm

On the other hand, the argument against its diversity is as follows:

• Less African American than the norm
  Less Asian than the norm

Well I think my city is pretty diverse I would give it a solid 9.

My city is located in the east bay in the Bay Area and we have about 75,000 residents.Over 60 different languages are spoken within city limits. The breakdown looks like this

43 % Asian (18 % of that is filipino, 9% indian)
20 % white
6.7% African American
1.3% Native American
0.9% Pacific Islander
11.5% Other races
6.7% Two or more races
24% Latino

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say my city's about a 3. Not very diverse, but not all-white either. Generally middle class.
