Ummmm, PA is not poor. You must be getting it confused when you look up the southern states poverty rankings.

Conn is also well rounded, Massachusets too. The south does not have any well rounded states.
Florida still seems to be popular among youth(look toward the bottom when they see what ages desire which states): California, Florida, Hawaii, Texas and Colorado Are the Most Popular States Where Americans Would Choose to Live

You're right, Florida does have ALOT of old people. But only COMPARED to other states. But to say it's nothing but old people, or MOSTLY old people is a stretch. ESPECIALLY in a state that has plenty of tourist attractions(South Beach, Theme Parks, Spring Break) geared towards young people.

Are you serious, New Jersey is a tiny state and has almost 9 million people, Florida is huge and only has 9 million people more.

No, Florida is not popular among the youth. Florida has the highest age among residents of all 50 states and it's a fact.

Living anywhere in Florida outside of Miami is the equivalent of living in a Golden Girls episode.

I know right. The top most densely populated states on that list are Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts.lol. Those states are tiny. If those states had only 5 people they would be considered the most densely populated.LOL

I understand that. NJ being small has just as much influence on it's population density as Florida does. Florida is 8th!!!! That's STILL pretty darn high. 8 out of 50, 18million people. And look at the TOP most densely populated states. Look how small they are. You can't tell me that those states being small doesn't have as much influence on there density.

Like I said, it IS true that Florida has ALOT of old people COMPARED to other states. BUT, it also attracts young people do to it's NUMEROUS attractions. You don't think people my age(20-25) don't want to party in South Beach? WOW what is this the twilight zone?

The credibility of their high population doesn't go far when everyone is in nursing homes and over the age of 60.
