What city would you choose to live in if you were:

1. 25/M
2. Single
3. Into live music and good sports
4. Had around 8k saved for a move
5. Had no job, but relevant experience in accounting/finance (I know)
6. Very into culture, good food, and outdoor activities

I'm having a hard time trying to decide! Please throw me some suggestions!!!

When you say "good sports" does it apply to college or major-league? or both?

I'm thinking Austin, Texas could be a good fit for you, esp with Live music and the single factor

I would say Portland but you'd need a job and the only pro sports is an MLS team they get in 2011.

Both college and pro are good with me! And doesn't Portland have the Trailblazers?

Philadelphia... the whole NYC-D.C. corridor is one of the big metro areas that sports a single women:men ratio that is great for single men... lot more single women there than single men. Being close to NYC, Philly has lots of finance-related jobs but isn't as expensive to live in. The sports scene is legendary. Lots of singles due to all the colleges there. For a 20-something single guy who's into sports and culture, Philly is one of the best places I can imagine for a move.

I don't know what type of music you're into, but Austin, Nashville, and New Orleans come to mind.
