I know very little about these two states and have never been to either. In fact, I'm not quite sure how to tell them apart. I don't know their differences, which is where I hope the C-D community will come in.
As for the nature, Oregon and Washington are both amazing. In the small town department, I think Oregon gets the edge and in the big city department, this is a no brainer...Seattle owns that category. What did you want us to compare for you?
I have been to both. Potland and Seattle are both good for the bigger cities. Seattle is more likely to have jobs right now. It's all going to depend on what sort of place you want.
The Oregon coast is amazing but it's all small cities. Both states have some cities close to the mountains if you like snow sports.
You guys can use whatever criteria you find important to answer this poll. I was just interested in the general opinion of which you guys prefer since I can't really tell them apart.
I like both of them, they're very similar states. However, I have to go the Washington because it has more variety and things to do. Plus Seattle is overall better then Portland IMO.
