I would say the best collection of cities would have to be the region consisting of BosWash.

Boston
New York City
Jersey City
Atlantic City
Newark
Philadelphia
Baltimore
Washington DC

Kind of hard to beat those, don't you think?

Exactly. Much more quality things to see and do in these cities collectively than anywhere else in the U.S.

The question asks which region has the best. Since this question is hard to qualify I voted other. What is "best" to one is least to another. Now, had the question been which region has the most, then undeniably that is East Coastish, according to this poll. Btw, since the South has some states along the coast, are they not East Coast?
