I'm surprised DC is up there. I loved the city as a single guy. There were a ton of really smart, beautiful women everywhere, and really no men for them to choose from. My friends call it 'the average man's paradise' because you're ahead of the game if you can dress yourself and hold a conversation with a woman.

It should be on the single men's top 10 list, not the single women's

I outgrew it.

Anyways here:

If you're a single woman, go Texas or West Coast. If you're a single guy go Northeast & Midwest & Southeast.
Cool map. It's weird how the Mississippi is sort of this invisible dividing line.

Austin is not a good place unless you are in high tech industry and have money. This is the most corrupt city I have ever lived in and it is hardly democratic (as if that would help matters). Take a look at Perry and then the history of the Chief of Police- Art Acevedo- his track record of sexual harassment and discrimination in LA- still doing it as COP in Austin- can't leave or get another position elsewhere- huge cocaine/heroine trafficking movement in Texas- many top police involved! Plus sex trade.. Anyway the day-to-day people are the same as anywhere but I can guarantee you if you are a person who likes intellectual conversations and talking about world politics, Texas will not be the place for you. If you are just into sex well then go for it- all types here for everyone but the women could lose a few pounds overall- they sure ain't small boned with all that fried Southern food and meat with hormones so if you like them on the bigger size then Texas may be right for you. They also come with big mouths btw! Tanya Tucker types for example.

Well, everything's a lil bigger in Texas.
