I just feel if DE has no votes, it might as well get some kind of light.

What's great is that the small states have such unique identity out of necessity. They have to, or they would be dominated by the larger states that surround them.

Hawaii, but these states are among my least favorite and I wouldn't want to live in any of them. Hawaii is a little lower than middle of the road, and would probably come in between 30-35 if I were to rank the states from 1 to 50.

After Hawaii, I would choose rural Connecticut.

One could argue that Rhode Island's identity is dominated by Massachusetts, Connecticut by Massachusetts and the NYC metro, New Jersey by the NYC and Philadelphia metro's, and Delaware, by New Jersey and Philadelphia. Hawaii is obviously distinct.

I draw a complete blank when I think 'Deleware.' Rhode Island doesn't do much for me either, and I've been there. Could just be my ignorance from living on the West Coast. I do like Hawaii.

I don't know how many who voted in this poll have actually been to Hawaii, but if they haven't, they should. Every one should try to get there at least one time in their lives. Just leave enough time for the Big Island, that was my one regret when I went there.

Hawaii is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

And that's just the business district. The skyline stretches to Diamond Head. And I'm glad my home state is winning! Can't wait to move back to the 808.

Yeah, the county I live in has more people... but I could really careless. Hawaii is one of a kind, and I had the pleasure to be raised there. IMO to me, the Mainland doesn't compare to anywhere in the Hawaii. It's residents are the happiest and least stressed for a reason

I bet it is!
I'm trying to get to Alaska this summer (which I've also heard is the most beautiful place in the world), I'm so glad this country gained these two great states.
