Columbus and Indianapolis have drawn comparisons in other threads, but never in an actual "photo thread".
Both are important capitol cities of their respective states, and both are also rare "success stories" of the midwest, a region that has been more typically aligned with dying cities and a mass exodus of population.
Both cities have much to be proud of ... burgeoning economies, expansion in their metro areas and qualities that are unique to each respective city.
Let's explore each of these capitol cities through photos and your thoughts ....
COLUMBUS
And ... INDIANAPOLIS

Note: Since we have a hold on skyline threads for a while, folks are going to need to add some variety in their pics for this thread. I suggest if this is a comparison between the two cities, that folks add their photos of local architecture (street level, homes, etc), parks, etc.
The extraordinary "FRANKLIN PARK & CONSERVATORY", a Columbus jewel
Here are some photos from my recent visit to the spectacular "Franklin Park & Conservatory", a large urban oasis located just 2 miles east of Columbus' city centre. The grounds are meticulously manicured with vast gardens, lakes and ponds. The "Palm House" ( conservatory ) and adjacent sculptures are breathtaking ... providing a special setting for city residents and visitors.
John, how about you show some good photos of Indy? You might cause people to think you were biased or something.
Either you post good photos of both cities, or crappy photos for both cities. No double standards.
All images belong to their respective owners.
I can assure you that there is no bias concerning the photos of these two cities. The photos of Indianapolis that I chose were absolutely complimentary.
Besides, this thread pertains to much more than the skylines of these two
respective cities.
I want to add ... the photos that you posted of "Indy" are beyond dazzling

Your Cols photos were stunning, but some of those Indy photos you posted sucked. Two of them are from the exact same awful canal angle with the suburban houses, and one of those has a bizarre aspect ratio.
