This home is located in a Houston suburb called Baytown. Just look at what you can get for such a low price ($249,900). And, on top of that, we have no state income tax! I just reduced the price on this 10k in Sept to get a quicker sale, which brings it down to the lowest price per sf in the subdivision. The only reason we are getting rid of our gorgeous 4-year-old home is because my husband transferred with his job to Orlando the end of Sept, and I must stay & sell our home. This is a 3,586 sf, 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 3 car garage home on a premium lot (2/5 of an acre, one of the three biggest lots in the entire subdivision). It is hard to find a nice home on a decent-sized piece of land. If you put a pool in this backyard, you will still have plenty of backyard left! Also, we have no back neighbors. We just finished putting in approximately $700 worth of Rubberstuff mulch for a beautiful look (Rubberstuff mulch deters insects, weeds, and termites, and the color will not fade as with ordinary mulch). This house has a north/south exposure as well as tech shield on house & garage to keep your heating/cooling costs low. Other features include Hunter Douglas blinds, gas logs in fireplace, flood lights on all corners of house, built-in appliances, rounded corners, tape and texture throughout, hot/cold plumbing in garage (to allow for utility sink), enlarged pantry in kitchen, crown moulding in dining, formal living, and master, and a full three-car garage. Master bedroom is HUGE (17 x 14), as is master custom tiled bathroom and walk-in closet. All four other bedrooms are a generous size as well, and all but one bedroom have walk-in closets. We are a non-smoking family. Just a five-minute drive from Houston Raceway Park and a twenty-minute drive to Kemah Boardwalk. The Chambers County part of Baytown has no MUD taxes. Desirable schools. Will also consider renting with good references. Remember, while other markets are stagnating, Texas' real estate and job markets are booming! Hakeem Olajuwon just bought commercial land approximately 5 miles from this house, and when have his investments ever been wrong? Please send a message through the forum.
