I have a wooded arcre of land in Chapel Ridge (Pittsboro).
I am wondering if any of you have heard of a buider or property owner that would be willing to sell an existing home for a combination of cash and an acre in Chapel Ridge (Pittsboro). I would be able to give a combination of about $300,000 and an acre values at about $100,000. Of course I would be looking for a home that is worth this combined value of $400,000 ish.
I know this is an unusual request. However considering the state of the new home market. I thought some builders that can not sell their spec homes or models may be open to this type of deal.
Do any of you know of any builder that may be willing to consider a sale like this?
Is there something wrong with the Chapel Ridge subdivision as far a zoning plans in the area, etc....? I have noticed ALOT of lots for sale well under tax value and was considering purchasing one, but was curious if I am missing some important information about owning there. Know anything about that?
