Since I am always telling people "winter isn't so bad... we only get 3 or 4 bad snow storms a year" I thought I would start a thread to track how many we actually get.

We got one "event" early this season so with this current one we are experiencing, we are already at 3 "events" this season. Hopefully we will only have 1 or 2 more (he said with optimism).

I think we are paying for last years milder winter when we only got MAYBE 3 bad storms...

I know of the one the week before Christmas in December and the one this week. Which other one are you refering to?

I don't know about Cleveland, but here in the Warren/Ytown area i remember getting around 16 inches one week in december, then the temp warmed up and melted all the snow. A week later it snowed about 10 inches. Now we are also getting what you guys are getting, but probably not as bad, might have 5 inches if that right now.

I could be wrong but I thought there was another one around the beginning of December. The one Cortland Girl is talking about where she got 10.

I love Clevelanders. We can't even remember our snowstorms. hahaha

Haha so true. We take it all in stride, in true Northeast Ohio fashion.

I go by snowblower usage. So far, that's been three different storms worth. None of them were really that bad either. We need a good 2-3 footer before I consider it to be anything of mention.
