On days like that, you take the back roads. You can practically ride a bicycle from Rockside to Hillcrest in less time than that.

But, the commute from Rockside to Downtown has always been busy. I used to drive my Dad to work and then go to CSU back in the early 90's. If we didn't leave an hour early, I'd barely make it to class at 8am on most days. It's just a busy route heading north in the morning. A few years back, I heard that the figure was 45,000 vehicles heading in or through along I-77 between 6-9 am.

You have right to that opinion, and I respect it, but for me, not having to worry about my "representatives" issuing edicts to prevent me from enjoying a right enumerated in the Constitution is worth a bit of time. Not to mention, I don't want one more dollar of my taxes going to that county than has to. I make good money and can choose where to spend it... I'll spend it where the sheriff at least pretends to uphold his constitution.

Had I know, prior to getting on the highway, I might have avoided it. But I didn't. Neither did the other people, obviously, as we were all stuck in traffic. And I left there at 6 a.m. I shudder to think about what it was like at 8 o'clock. I did call people and tell them to avoid the highway, though.

I do not commute by bicycle and will take your word on that.

Right, because we all know that pretense trumps objectivity.

BTW, I'm a gun owner and have never been 'harrassed' even once. Maybe you should read into the cases you're talking about. Either way, McFaul hasn't been the Sherriff here in nearly 3 years. You're complaining about things that are currently irrelevant.

7AM or 7PM it would take 15 minutes.
