Hi everyone. My husband and I will be looking at a house to rent on Lost Nation Rd near Lakeshore (JT's Diner next door). I'm not really familiar with the neighborhood and I'm wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what it's like? I've been given indications that it's a little rough and the police are there a lot. A little background on me: I'm from Painesville City and am used to the people and the downtown area. I do, however, still get the creeps walking to stores (opting to drive 5 seconds down the road at times) and I do not go certain places at night. I'm not really looking to move to another place like Painesville City but I do have somewhat of a tolerance for it. If you are familiar with Painesville and this part of Willoughby maybe you can compare? Otherwise, just some insight on this neighborhood would be great.

Thanks!!

That is not the prettiest area but it's really not bad at all. I grew up not too far from there - definitely not anything like Painesville city.

I'd move into the area, but then again, I've lived in Painesville, too. I just don't think I'd like living on the main drag so much.

Do you know why the cops are called to the neighborhood a lot?

No, not sure. I think I'm going to look on their facebook page when I get home and see if I can get any insight.

I have never found it to be rough at all. I use to play basketball at Osborne park all summer when I was younger. Willoughby crime <<<<<<< Painesville. I'd move there from certain parts of Painseville in a heartbeat. I grew up in Lake County.
