Hello all

So I'm sort of new to the forum in the sense that I've never posted a reply nor a question, I generally read to stay up-to-date with what's going on.

However, I'm hoping someone can recommend a non-commercial rail (freight) company I could use to move my furniture across state. I need to move the contents of a one bedroom apartment from Ohio to the west coast. I suppose I haven't been googling the right phrase when I put in non-commercial rail shipping, because I keep getting results for industrial shipping.

Please advise if you will of any information you have on rail shipment. Also, I am open to shipping by barge in case anyone has any information on that method also.

Thanks a million,

SBrinaB

When we went from CA to Dayton one year, we used UPack. They drop the trailer. You pack and they take it to your place. It went pretty well.
