Hi,

I'm excited to be visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for an upcoming weekend trip. Just wondered if you have any recommendations for good restaurants within walking distance of the Hall?

I'm super open-minded food-wise and well, there are a ton of places...so many to choose from!

I'd be very appreciative if you can give me recommendations...for a good dinner place. I prefer casual to dressy casual type of environment. I enjoy all kinds of food...Sushi, Indian, Thai, Italian, American, Mediterrean, etc., etc.

Many thanks in advance!

Bear hugs,
AB

If you're looking for more casual, I would recommend:

Corner Alley (Bar and Grille)
Zocalo (Mexican)
Winking Lizard
Saigon (Vietnamese)

Crop Bistro (although it's slightly more dressy, but DELICIOUS--mostly from local farmers)
Brasa (Brazilian Steak house)

Lola Bistro is probably the most "famous" downtown hot spot. It is unlikely you would have a bad meal there. Crop should be good too. I am not so sure about some of the others mentioned-hit or miss-except the Winking Lizard, but that is kind of typical pub food (though done well).

We actually decided to be impromptu and walk around a bit. We ended up at The Cleveland Chophouse and Brewery. Very good place Another night, we ate by our hotel in Indepence which is just south of Cleveland at the Thai Gourmet. Both nights were excellent!

Thanks so much for all of the help! It really helped us

Bear hugs,
