I have an appt tomorrow for the big battle. You know I had the district manager arguing (honestly) that is was the banks money once it got into the system. I found an NCB commercial online saying its mine.

I have time now to explain what happened, I'd love feedback,

I had my bi-monthly check made out for the 9/15 a monday. I knew I had automatic withdrawels coming out Monday. I could not deposit the check Sat (13th) because it can't be less than 24 hours, sooo called & asked if i deposited the check in the night deposit box before the bank opened monday if i would be OK. I was told yes. (I will disclose my error in a second). I went to the bank about 8:30 AM, the bank was not open, and put in the check night deposit box. I now understand that the check still would have taken a day to process, but as I usually walk it in & ask them to put it in immediately, I was in error. So when I checked my account on Tuesday online, there were (7) 34.00 overdraft charges.... I was shocked & pannicked & I called the bank {the branch I deposited in (which is where I actually go)}, and the branch I opened the account in 28 years ago. I did not know the banks are treated like franchises (like McDonalds) for the bottom line on productivity.

Ok so I was at 238 in fees, and was told none of the bank managers were in, but they would call me back...HAH! Weds mornin I got up with this silly thought it would have been taken care of or at lease greatly reduced , only to see ANOTHER SIX 34.00 fees added>>>That is 442.00!!!! In a menopausal manic series of phone calls , I was told that my deposit had not gone through till weds because on monday the night box deposits were take out before 8:00 am when the bank opens (for them )....I thought the bank opened at 9:00 for customers.

Anyhow so I had all helpline people on my side as of friday, and they took off 2 charges, only to have them slapped back on by my the bank manager (where the account was opened), plus an additional 2 for using my account?????????At that time it had a 18.00+ balance =Total after 510$ in fees!!!!

As of this morning I had about 5,000.00 go in (funny they didn't mind that activity) and the 2 additional were removed.

I really hate to pull out of this bank because it is good on my credit report to be such a long customer, and i am in a dicey financial situation with my condo on the market.

Thanks for letting me vent & wish me luck!

Even if I literally use my debit account to pay all my bills, etc?

Heck I'll jump in a heartbeat if that is true! Are you sure? ( just surprised)

Thanks
