I have also looked at similar properties as we are moving that way very soon, I would love to know if they are real , or is that the rental price?

This same house is currently listed on Realtor.com for $298,800 (it's got a half-acre lot an easy walk to the West Side Market) so that's obviously a monthly rental figure:

Single Family Home - 2701 Monroe, Cleveland, OH, 44113 - Realtor.com (http://www.realtor.com/search/listingdetail.aspx?zp=44113&typ=1&sid=872eed6f6698 4bad8188e6330ba99bed&pg=8&lid=1101714583&lsn=71&sr cnt=102#Detail - broken link)

If you look it up on realtor.com, the $1500. is the monthly rental.

$298,000 seems too much for it, as i saw the valuation price for that same home was $150,000...but then again if that same home was listed here in Perth, Australia it would be $650,000US.

No, thats not real, if it is its just the rent.

However they would probably PAY YOU to fix up and possibly live in a rundown house on the Eastside or East Cleveland. They cant give those things away. On the other hand they have decent houses on the Eastside for $20,000, but lets just say the area isnt so decent...

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay.
