I'm with wesohood.

I think the best view of Cleveland is from the Garfield Monument. Everyone should go there at lest once!

I think I have to agree with you.

I'm trying to think of some other place with a view as good, but can't think of any. I guess maybe in one of the highrises or buildings downtown maybe, but no place natural like that.

The view from on top of some of the Gold Coast buildings in Lakewood is pretty spectacular as well.

Costello_musicman, your name has got nothing to do with Elvis Costello, has it?

And you had a president called Garfield in Cleveland? That's funny.
If the wind blows me to Cleveland any day I'll visit the monument. Promised.

Garfield was president of America ... He was mostly famous because he got assassinated.

Anyways, yes I agree, Garfield's Tomb is a must see, especially for the view (and the potential pictures of course.)

Does anyone else like the views from Edgewater Park? I mean those are some of my favorite views of any city. The lake with the skyline behind it...

^^From the West Side, yeah those views are great. Also, I love the view when your riding the Redline coming in from the west, immediately after the W.25th stop....when the whole city just hits you at once. Not camera friendly per se, but great to see in person.

The Garfield Monument on the Eastside is great because it's high up, and its covers University Circle "skyline" and as well as downtown.

Gordon Park has a nice view of the skyline and lake.

I like the views from Edgewater as well.
