DH and I are celebrating our 30th anniversary in late October and were thinking of returning to the coast. I cannot think of a better place to celebrate but would like to ask feedback on the weather at that time. Still heavenly?

Still heavenly? The Crystal Coast is at peak "Heavenly" then. I've lived here for almost 30 years and can't think of a better time.

It's my favorite time of the year. The beaches are uncrowded, the heat is gone, and the evenings are cooler. The water is still warm in October. You can run into some stormy cool weather, but it is rare.

Thank you gentlemen. We will be there next week and I can't wait. Leaving won't be so bittersweet knowing I will return in October.
