This was one of the biggest "DUH!!!" moments of all time. I hate, did I say HATE, the drive from NB to Greenville. Two lane road, rednecks, logging trucks, pretty heavy traffic I have SEEN so many wrecks on that road, and most of them look bad.
Hope a decision maker can do something with this data, but alas, road construction and associated funds are a politicos dream come true.
A lot of the drivers native to Pitt County have to be some of the slowest in the world. I'm not talking aout driving the seped limit, I'm talking about driving 5-10 miles below. (This is also true for Wayne and Green, IME). You combine that with a bunch of college students that recklessly drive at tehother end of the spectrum, and a college kid rear ending a local is a frequent occurence
The worse place for wrecks in Pitt County is probably the intersection of Greenville Blvd and Evans St, or Evans St and Arlington Blvd. There were always crashes there (and probably still are).

Yeah, 43 sucks. Plus add in the anxiety of people trying to get to the beach. It needs to be on a path of four-laned. But there are far to many other roads that need that treatment more.
