My husband and I will be moving to Wilmington for his job soon. His company will be buying our house & we will be looking to purchase one in Wilmington or the surrounding area. We don't want to spend more than 450,000 but want to be in a good area.

We've been to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach once for vacation but that's it. What are the good towns or areas to live in?

We don't have kids yet but we plan to live in this house for 10+ years and will be starting our family in this house; what are the good schools?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Do you want public or private schools? Wilmington Christian Academy is a wonderful private school.

If the public school is good we would do public. If not, we'd do private.
