It's May 14-15 and I can't get the website to work.

Wondering what it is b/c we are supposed to have a family vacation there starting the 16th and if it's going to be a bunch of drunken teenagers flooding the area .......we may reschedule.

Kookfest Beach Festival would be a more appropriate name. Wow, reading up on "The Zeitgeist Movement" is kinda scary. Seems like the hippy movement on ultra steroids.

I'm sure beer won't be the only intoxicant at that event.

TNGal78, as someone who closely follows the events on the island, I can tell you that this event hasn't hit the radars. It appears to be a small scale event that takes place on the North End (Freeman Park) where people can camp out over night.

Their FB Page has 76 followers so I don't think you have to worry about a bunch of teenagers invading your vacation.

Also, judging from the mission statement on FB, it looks like a harmless gathering to me.

Our goal is to promote kindness, oneness, beach cleanliness, music, art to aid in the transition from our current way of living to a new, improved, and more sustainable society for all people.
