almost 2 weeks ago, hubby had a massive stroke and is partially paralyzed on the right side of his body. cant move his arm or hand at all, and limited movement in leg and foot. everything else is fine (brain, speech, heart, etc) just rather... immobile at the moment.

physical therapists say his leg will get better - arm too (somewhat) but will probably never regain full dexterity in hand (according to occupational therapists).

So, at least until he can walk and not be literally exhausted after 20 steps, our hunt is on hold...

will still be keeping an eye on the MLS and our agent will be too, and if something REALLY interesting comes up I can head down if needed, but needless to say its taking a far backseat at the moment. and who knows, maybe when hes a little more mobile the perfect house will materialize

Oh Suedonym, I'm so very sorry that happened. Glad he is expected to improve. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear about you husband. You'll probably do well to wait on buying a house though. Prices are still dropping like a rock around here.
