I will be relocating to Elizabeth City N.C. this year. I would prefer to be in walking distance of the highest concentration of bars and restaurants. I know this is a really small city, but it would still be nice to be in walking distance to this sort of stuff.
What areas within EC would you recommend? I am looking to rent and would prefer to be in a house, not an apartment. Some other things to note: I don't have a family and would prefer a nicer area, without having to be in the outskirts of the city.
I did see some other posts regarding Elizabeth City, but a lot of the recommendations seemed to be in the suburbs. I would like to avoid this if at all possible.
