Looking to rent a furnished condo for a few months,until we sell our home up north. Looked into St James, it seems they will rent only for a short time. Anyone have any ideas of other gated communities that rent condos? Thanks

Try Brunswick Plantation in Calabash. They have monthly rates listed here: North Myrtle Beach Condo Rentals | Brunswick Villas

I have occasionally seen condos on Craigslist, but not sure if they want longer-term rentals.

You can probably find a "vacation" rental in Oak Island. Or else maybe find a real estate agent in Southport and see if they can help you find something.
