Newly divorced & looking to relocate near or around Wilmington. Need advice on a nicer, quiet apartment complex or townhome rentals(?). I have a middle school age child who has had issues with bullying, so a great (and hopefully small) middle school is our biggest concern. Would love some help on some smaller towns surrounding Wilmington, but am not looking to buy a home. Thank you!

Hampstead has well-rated schools, based on achievement scores. Smaller towns nearby include Holly Ridge, Sneads Ferry, Burgaw, Castle Hayne, Rocky Point, etc. I guess I would locate a rental and then interview the middle school principal on their experience with handling bullying. In the towns I mentioned, there are probably more houses for rent than apartments.
