How is the Empie Park area safe wise?
Anyone ride there bike on Park ave? is it safe?
Can you ride it all the way to the beach?

plenty of people do it. however, it's not something i think is very safe. don't take my word for it:

they make it sound like a dream come true for bikers, is that Empie park area a fairly safe to rent a apartment? . I have never seen so many tennis courts in a park area before.

it's in the middle. it is not "Crime free" by any means -- but if you could find something really cheap there, maybe its worth it. the single-family neighborhoods around there are pretty good, but the apartments tend to be sketchy.
