I know this is a late reply, but in case this helps someone else out in the future. New Hanover Village allows all aggressive breeds. Pitbulls, dobermans, great danes, and other types of breeds have all been residents here.
OMG..thanks for asking this question!! I spoke to a lady today that was so kind to me and said it was okay to have outside dogs until.....I said I had Pitbulls! My pitbulls actually got beat up by my teacup yorkie..that is how vicious these two are.. but her tone changed and she became quite beligerant and told me that I will NEVER get a home in Wilmington with these dogs. So if you get any info..please let me know. I really love the area..
So you have three dogs … that would be an issue renting just about anything; regardless of breed. I do understand pitbulls, however, and realize many are misunderstood and ar e great loyal pets. However, when you purchase or adopt a pitbull, you must realize that there will be 'issues' with landlords. You also need to realize that landlords have to pay homeowner's insurance, and pitbulls are a huge liability in the insurance world. Sorry, that is just the way it is. German Shepherds and other 'allegedly' aggressive large dogs have been stigmatized by insurance companies; and landlords cannot be expected to pay the higher premiums required to 'take a chance' on you.

Must be time for you to apply for a volunteer position on CD as a moderator … you really have been striving for responsibility to insult other posters. Grow up; no one is perfeckt.
