A lot of typical responses. If it's not happening at the instant that you look for it, in your neighborhood, then it's not happening anywhere at anytime. Whether the change is man made or not, doesn't matter. This is just like people that deny that there's a potable water shortage. Just because it comes out of their tap they think everything is fine.

It has been documented time and again that the sea levels are rising. The seas have risen and receded countless times since the Earth began. And they will continue to rise and recede long after humans have gone the way of the dinosaurs. To deny it is just stupid.

You don't even have to look at sea levels. A lot of the animals in ARNWR are moving inland because the estuarine habitats are dying out due to the sound water's increasing salinity. The salt marsh sections along the sounds keep getting larger too, and the edgewater tree stands are dying off faster and faster.

carolina beach has eroded significantly in the past year. looks like maybe 3 ft depth of the beach sand is gone.
