North Carolina Bound (Wilmington, New Bern, Carolina Beach: apartment, condo, townhouse)

I am a 50 year old single woman looking to relocate to the Wilmington, NC area, or nearby. Starting fresh and in need of advice on nice, safe areas to live on a >100,000 housing budget and job opps. I have worked in the health care field/clerical and clinical trials/clerical but open for anything. Any advice or areas and companies?

New Bern had lots of housing in that price range and a decent hospital. And other medical facilities and practices.

New Hanover Regional is the only hospital in Wilmington. Numerous health care groups are associated with it.

Is your housing budget less than or greater than $100,000? There are numerous condo communities around Carolina Beach Road in that price range.
