Making a trip soon with my almost 7-year-old daughter and wondering what, if anything, is a must-do activity? I know about the battleship and the aquarium but don't want to miss other things. We can drive into Wilmington (or surrounding areas) if need be. We'll be there a total of 4 days.

Thanks.

You can go to the Carolina Beach State Park and go on a hike and look for Venus Flytraps. They are there but are hard to find sometimes. If you cant find them, you can go to the Alderman Preserve off Independence and easily see them.

Eat at the Lazy Pirate and there are tons of outside activities the kids love to do.
