Are the courses at River Landing in Wallace available for public play? I have a golf trip in the future and would like to hit that track on our way back north.

I can't imagine a gated community would open its courses to the public and per their website, the courses are listed as "private". But, you could just call and ask: 910.285.6693

Looks like both of the courses are semi private and open for public play.

River Landing > Golf > The River Course

Let us know what the courses are like!

What indicates that? Your link doesn't work by the way.

All I see is a statement that the courses are "private" and a link for "member tee-time".

GolfNow describes these courses as semi private.
Might be worth a call.

for moving purposes - another point to consider: I don't believe Wallace is in Brunswick County so you may want to look at the tax base, too. Just like Hanover (Wilmington) is higher than Brunswick County...

Who's moving? And you're correct, Wallace is in Pender County, where the county tax rate is $68.5 per $100, versus $.48 per $100 in Brunswick. And its New Hanover County whose county tax rate is $57.4 per $100. But all that is immaterial to someone just looking to play a round of golf.

Yes, correct. My mistake. Duplin County's rate is $.73.
