what a clever and informative gif you have there thank you for the insight. I am not trying to offend anyone, I just want people to understand where I am coming from...which is so little even known about. I feel like there is an entire constituency that is grossly under-represented, and under appreciated.
anyone from inland i advise you to stay away from carteret county this coming summer, try to go somewhere else to vacation. currently there are tons of unhappy locals who are tired of seeing their wonderful homes destroyed for 5 months out of the year and are regularly rioting in downtown areas.. . . also there are bad cases of ebola, influenza, west nile, mad cow, and SARS all going around the county. finally, gas is over 9 dollars a gallon..milk is around 15 for a half gallon. . .. . . stay away people! its horrible..would not recommend the area to ANYONE who doesnt live there year round if you have any questions id be glad to help you out. i was unfortunately caught there for my entire life, but recently had to leave to save my life..its NOT worth it !

If you do move to carteret county from off I don't recommend advertising the fact that you aren't from around here, you won't be received that well in many parts of the county. there are parts of the county that are EXTREMELY clanish (not like KKK but have a very tight sense of family/community) and do not appreciate developers and tourists destroying that sense of community. I am really just trying to warn people.
My family and I are checking into coastal community to relocate,is the feeling so bad if we are southerners and moving from charlotte?
