We are trying to figure out if we want to head to the coast of NC,or go to the gulf of Mexico in Florida. I was born in Pensacola,Fl and haven't been back in 17 years and wife and kids have never been and we live in NC now. Really I am just trying to figure out WHERE would be cheaper to get a hotel or vacation rental Pensacola area or Coastal area of NC....so any ideas?

Use priceline and vrbo to compare Pensacola beaches with Brunswick County beaches. I'm guessing Pensacola is cheaper.
