Possibly have moving from CT to the Wilmington area, have been down a couple times and going again in a few weeks. I was wondering if there was any lpn here that could give me an idea on what pay was like in the area so that I can get an idea of what I would be able to afford. I’ve looked online at salary .com and it says the median was about $21. But I’ve seen job post for $16-18. If anyone could be helpful with this I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance

Most will say the pay is lower due to the amount of people here and the lack of good paying jobs. Also its pretty hard to get into NHRMC unless you're very over qualified. That being said, you can also find jobs that pay very well you just need to work hard to find them.

Don't forget that median signifies that 50% of people are paid below that number and 50% above that number. Naturally the employers will post jobs at the lower end of the scale. You will have to impress them with specialized skills or above average qualifications to get the upper end of the scal. Keep trying, and good luck.
