We are new to the Greenville area. I have searched the forum on this question and the last specific one was back in 2013.

I have a little guy (5 years old) who is very sensory sensitive and he is terrified of drills. Both the sound and vibration scare him.

I am looking for a dentist who is GREAT with kids. He is a little behind on his dental visits because he was so afraid that he would not let the dentist do any work. I am really hoping someone will be patient with him, show him how things work, let him ask questions so that he can feel comfortable and the doctor can do his/her work.

Anyone know a pedi dentist like that? Everyone else in our family would probably go there too even though none of us are this challenging.

He has had sedation dentistry in the past (extraction; he broke a tooth skateboarding), but I really want his dentist experience to normalize. I don't want him to need sedation just for simple work.

TIA :-)
