Hi everyone!
Could you tell me about the Castle Bay neighborhood in Hampstead? The prices seen a bit cheaper than other neighborhoods for all brick, newer homes. (cleared lots are cheaper as well) What gives?😊 I know the bypass will be nearby but not right in the backyards of these homes.

We used to live in Wilm but now live in Florida and may have the opportunity to return. We can build or buy. Scouting out areas we are less familiar.

Thanks for the help!

It is not very close to the water. Furthermore, the golf course is being converted now, per the website, and will not be fully available for a while. The golf course is Scottish links style with no trees, which is not everyone's cup of tea. I saw nothing really wrong with the community, however, and I like the solid-brick construction. The schools in Hampstead get very good ratings.

Another factor in the prices is that there is a plenitude of new construction, which tends to hold down the price of existing homes.
