I've got cottage booked at Onslow Beach for 3 days. (T-Th) I'll be relaxing and hoping to spend most of my time listening to the waves hit the beach. I'll be there with a true foodie and, if there's an eating place no one should miss, I'd love to know.

He likes all kinds of good food. Any suggestions?

J'ville isn't known for its culinary scene and I'm afraid your true foodie friend meybe disappointed. Marrakesh and Osprey Grill are pretty good.

I suggest Swansboro for the Saltwater Grill and maybe the Boro Restaurant.

That sounds right up his alley. Seafood makes sense. Plus I'm in the Mojave desert. Fresh seafood - yum.

We ended up at Topsail. I didn't get much say in the matter.
