Any info on Hubert Nc? (Jacksonville, Havelock: rent, crime, house)

Hard to find anything. How is the crime and how far is it from the beach? May have to commute to morehead city for work. How long does that take? Thanks

It's tiny. It's about 1 hr-45 min from Morehead City. Why don't you live closer to MHC if you're going to work there? Google Maps is your friend:

I did and it said 40 mins (34 miles away) but didnt know if traffic was bad or not

Depends on time of day, day of the week, time of year, etc.

Again, why Hubert????? Assuming you are paying rent or buying I'm sure you could find something in the same price range closer to MHC. If somebody is just letting you stay in their house or trailer for free that's another thing.

Jacksonville is closer than MHC if you will be looking for work.

Your tried Newport or Havelock? Both up the rd from Morehead City and closer.

Plenty of other little crossroads around MHC. Newport and Havelock are good suggestions. I'd just go on Realtor.com and plug in Carteret County and your price point and see what you see.
