Does anyone know if NC state job employers are conducting job interviews while they are only giving appointments out to clients during this Covid 19 period we are going through? I have noticed I have been under review for almost 2 months. Another question, does being under review mean my resume is in Human Resources or is it sitting on the hiring managers desk?

OP- Did you mean to post in the Coastal NC sub-forum? There would be more responses in the Raleigh/Durham sub-forum.

The jobs are in the coastal area Brunswick and New Hanover counties. I am just wondering what their status on hiring is right now during Covid 19 and with Hurricane Isaias hitting those areas.

I think you have probably answered your own question. Here's one example which says they are only open to the public by appointment: https://deq.nc.gov/contact/regional-offices

I think telephoning their HR Department is your only recourse to finding your status. Unless you have the name of the hiring manager or an internal contact, you are probably stuck in limbo.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking...that I would have to call them. I just don’t want to that annoying person that always calls.

Telephoning will show that you are interested in the job. You also have a right to move on to other options if they have not responded within a reasonable time. Good Luck!
