I also noticed that the lots seem to be selling at higher prices. $35K is the lowest priced lot for sale today.

I just realized that the lots will require the installation of a septic system. Some of the smaller houses (like 2200 SF) are only permitted to have 3 bedrooms. Even some of the larger houses at 3400 SF, are only permitted for 3 bedrooms. A recently sold home was using a bonus room as extra sleeping space. This is an important constraint if you plan to build, as it may limit the number of guests you can handle.

Seascape was nice the last time I drove through the place. A lot of empty spaces, that will disappear as homes are built. My only complaint about the place is there is only a Food Lion that is near the place. You have to drive into Shallotte to find any retail options. Traffic can be bad during the season especially on Saturday.
