One nice thing about it is that it names restaurants in small towns like Belhaven and Grandy. Wilmington is well represented, but Greenville and New Bern do not have any mentions.
Thanks for this list! The Parson’s Table in Brunswick County did not make this list. I’ve always wanted to go there as I’ve only heard great things. Is this restaurant farm to table? Their website includes “We also want to do our part to protect the environment by working with sustainable, organic suppliers locally and throughout the country”.

I've never heard of this place, and after reading your post I was quite surprised why that was the case. Upon looking at their website, it appears they are actually located in SC, not in Brunswick County. Close, but...
Anyway, it looks like a great place to try if I'm ever down that way.

Geez, I didn’t realize it was in Little River. It’s definitely on my list of places to dine in the coming months, as things open up.
First Watch is a chain restaurant with over 300 location. They do have a nice menu with several healthy choices but it’s not a true “farm to table” restaurant.

That is definitely an oversight. In Greenville, Ford & Shep is quite good. I haven't been to Soco since it moved into downtown Greenville; it used to be on a farm over toward Wilson, and it was excellent -- often rivaling Chef and the Farmer. I can't speak for New Bern, though.
