Driving from Philly to NMB Sunday.
NC route takes us I95 to I40 to Wilmington then down 17 to NMB. What about gas supply?

I saw more empty stations in the Raleigh area today, than those with cars in line waiting to fuel. News is reporting figures anywhere from 25% to 70 % of stations in NC are without fuel. I would be hesitant to make that drive...
Update: 6PM news just stated 68% of NC stations are out of gas, but the Colonial Pipeline was just re-started, may take days to return to normal.

Regards

It's a few days away. With the pipeline starting back up as of 5pm today things might be ok by Sunday. We'll know better in a couple of days

Helpful tip: You can shave off some miles if you take I-95 to Wilson and drop down I-795. Once you reach the end of I-795 in Goldsboro, continue on US-117 South from there until you reach I-40 just west of Faison.

Check https://tracker.gasbuddy.com along your route.

Green marker means the station has gas

Today is predicted to be the worst day in NC for finding gas. As of this morning 72% of gas stations do not have any. Some predictions are that it may not get better until Monday or Tuesday, so traveling could be iffy on Sunday.

I'm thinking to drive from Raleigh to Kure Beach and back this Friday to next Monday. Should I expect long lines at gas stations?

Check GasBuddy. There currently is midweek availability of gas in Wilmington, but I cannot guess the weekend. I would try to plan the trip so I get gas at Wallace/Rose Hill or Magnolia rather than at the beach.
