Is it possible for anyone in the Wilmington area to give me a brief overview of the "weather" in your community? Currently, I'm in the East Tennessee region and we definitely enjoy four seasons. However, it is already 95 degrees in early June with noticeable humidity. Plus high-pollen content provokes burdensome allergy problems. It's a tad bit embarrassing to start weeping while ambling through city streets. I know Wilmington has humid summers; however, is it moderated by ocean breezes?

You appear to have attractive beaches - I used to be a healthy ocean swimmer. Just wondering if the sand and surf are swimmer friendly? Yep, I'm silver haired now, but I do think I could still make out beyond the breakers. Suppose, I should trundle down you way and give it all a try?

Thank you, in advance, for your kind and informative rejoinders.
Shalom.

Thanks, for the response. 100% humidity may simply not be viable for these old bones. It's always great to get "honest illumination" from someone "living the experience."
Shalom.
