Hello all:

I wonder if any Carolina Beach locals can fill me in on the Olde Mariner's Village area. I am looking to relocate to the area very soon, and will be heading down to Carolina and Kure Beaches this weekend to look at houses. A real estate agent informed me that he has a townhouse in Olde Mariner's Village to show me, but unfortunately all the information I can find online about that area includes some psychotic neighborhood dog that keep attacking area pets and people. Not a place I think I want to live, especially since I have a little poodle I'll be walking around! Anyway, I have no idea what ever happened to this vicious dog, if it was put down or removed, or if it's still terrorizing the area, nor do I have any other info on this neighborhood. Any info/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

GC

Is it this house?

128 Olde Mariners Way, Carolina Beach NC - Trulia

If it is, I'd stay away. That house is waaaaaaaaaaay over priced.

He didn't tell me which house it was, but he did mention that it was a townhouse. I'm actually looking for a rental, and he said the 2 bedroom townhouse was in the $950 a month range. Which seemed high for a two bedroom place so far from the beach, but I don't know.
