I can't even comprehend how nice it is over there! I will trade with someone!

Obviously "the weather I paid for" was hyperbole. We moved here because of the natural beauty of the area, the (usually) friendly people, the strong sense of community (especially in St. James), and the wonderful beaches. Escaping snow was just a bonus. Spring and Fall in the sunny Coastal Carolinas is my favorite time/place.

I live along the Crystal Coast. Most of our coastline is uninhabitted. My wife calls it perpetual summer time here. (She came here via Rhode Island and Poland).
Actually-I'm just on a weeks vacation from NYC. It's just that my week has lasted almost 30 years!

The North Carolina coastline offers a warm, sunny and sandy alternaative to New England. It also offers a more economical & cooler alternative to Florida.
Some like it here. Some don't. I certainly do!

I figured that sooner or later, we would hear in some way shape or form that Carteret County weather was better than New Bern's, and it actually happened. Immensely funny.

Do tell LLN-Who said Carteret County's weather was better than New Bern's?
