Little Dolphin- I'm not sure that I articulated my question very well. I meant are the coastal towns in NC season dependant or are they year round like in southern cal? I know that there is a year round population, but is there year round tourism?
For the most part, the fish (of one type or another) bite all year long, ya just gotta know where to look for 'em . Interesting statistic, the majority of the non-carolina tourists to the N.C. coast come from Pennsylvania. But.....Delaware has been making a bit of a run in the last few years. If you are interested in a "run and gun" fast paced atmosphere------this ain't it.
Yep, the above posters got it right. Come to us for quietude, history, natural beauty and contemplation. Artists, photographers, writers, families, water-lovers, paddlers, cyclists, relaxed, gentle people (or those who need relaxation) come here to restore their peace of mind...this is not Spring Break country here...I like us for what we aren't, which is ticky tacky...
