Rodents lose a heart-breaker, boy I never saw that coming. Think it was unfair of that they scheduled a 2-A team so close to the big rematch with USC but ya play with the hand that's dealt ya, every game is a big game, the sun comes up in the morning and....say, wouldn't you look at the pretty lights over there next to the sun. Very cleverly, we lose to a team that won't count against our BCS standings and we've no doubt lulled the Prophylactics to the West into a false sense of security. Fire Smokey Joe bring back Warmath.

I would have been listening to this game online if USD had any idea of how to make their live stream work. I will check with the So Dak forum to see if they have invented paved roads yet...

P.S. SC is appealing those sanctions, so before thinking they're toast for umpteen years and Brewster will be keeping his job....

Think I can vagley remember you back in the Myspace forums when they were at their best, I still lurk around them now but they're just plain boring.

Looking back at over the last few years and they've struggled to put away Div 1AA teams but they've played some close conference games against the bigger teams,

An interesting program for sure.

I should trudge out to the mailbox and get the paper. I'm certain Sid will likely reveal that the refs had it out for the Gophers and we still have a chance to save the season next week. Gopher Football: consistency for 50 years and counting.

The problem with Sid is any Gopher team that has a pulse, Sid wants to compare them to the great 1960 team.

I remember that team well !

Sid is older than me and should be ashamed of "propping up " some of the recent weak teams by saying they are similar to the 1960 team.

The obvious solution would have been to be better prepared better and taken on the mannerisms of "The Roadrunner" to outwit the Wiley Coyote.

The dirt-rats simply ran into a buzz-saw, and have nothing to be ashamed of. The Gophers actually scored as many points on the Coyotes as did their first week opponent, the UCF Scarlet Knights! Yes, the same Scarlet Knights that lost this week to North Carolina State who barely lost last year (45 - 42) to the 1999 NCAA Champs Florida State! Therefore, the Gophers are almost better than the best NCAA Football team of the 20th Century. Take that you Gopher haters. If we see South Dakota further down the road I think things will turn out differently. We will take it out on USC this week and it won't be pleasant for them. Revenge for 1980!
