Looking over the schedule, Texas A&M (there I said it again) Marshall, Iowa State, Arizona State, Northwesterm , UCLA and a few other notables really don't deserve to be in a bowl game period. They did absolutely nothing impressive from August to December and should not be playing now.
As for one particular Bowl, I add Florida vs Ohio State, two established powerhouses that sank this season, both have a .500 record, and since they have alumni and a following they will sell seats, but again, do they really "deserve" a bowl ?
Aren't all the bowl games about putting together the two teams that will fill seats for what is basicly an exhibition game, except for the BCS championship bowl?
