Our starters looked great last night. Ran roughshod over poor ol' Malzahn and co. to the the tune of 50-3 with 7 mins left in 1st half. After that everyone played including the water boy. The Pac-12 doesn't know what's coming for them. Mariota is going to make a lot of teams look silly.
The Ducks are for real. My pre-season pick was Oregon over Georgia in the national title game. I don't know whether that'll hold up, but I think Oregon will be one of the top 3 or 4 teams all-year long. They're clearly at the elite level; it's just a question of whether they're better than USC, Bama or two or three others. They'd give any team the fight of their season, though. They're great.
While Oregon's offense is awesome, the jury is still out on their defense. I still think Bama would beat them badly.
